It's towards the end of October and the harvest has ended, the days are getting shorter and the beginning stillness and darkness of winter is setting in. The year is turning.
This is the time when the veils are thin between this world and the next. According to Irish mythology, Samhain is a time when the doorways to the spirit world open, allowing elemental beings and the souls of the dead to come into our world.
When the veil is thin, it is easier to glimpse the other side. It is also a reminder that the afterlife is simply another part of life itself. This is a wonderful time to tune into the supernatural...
