Society sends out the message that only the chosen few are really creative and if you aren’t – then it’s best to forget the whole thing. But that is so wrong, everyone can be creative in his or her own small or big way. Being creative can enrich everything you do and deepen your understanding of yourself and the world.

During our very early years we are free of inhibitions, then as we get older we’re taught that a picture must look like something, that a story has to follow a logical sequence, a poem has to rhyme and a song has to have a melody. Our creativity is squeezed out of us and inhibited by rules – many people convince themselves that they aren’t creative.
